Live updates from Thursday’s Class 7A semifinals, Class 1A title games

Class 7A teams hit the floor for the first time this week Thursday at Legacy Arena as the AHSAA state finals roll on.

The Hoover boys try to continue their quest for a perfect season against final four mainstay Central-Phenix City, while the Hoover girls eye a possible fifth straight state title.

In the afternoon, the first two championships of the week will be decided in Class 1A with Spring Garden and star Ace Austin on the floor for the second time this week.
