Alabama football head coach Nick Saban was scheduled to make his weekly radio show appearance on Thursday in Tuscaloosa. Saban was set to take the microphone on “Hey Coach” at 7 p.m. at Baumhower’s Victory Grille.

Saban and his Crimson Tide team are set to continue SEC play Saturday at Mississippi State after beating Ole Miss at Bryant-Denny Stadium last Saturday. The game in Starkville is scheduled to begin at 8 p.m. and will be aired on ESPN.

Saban says he tries to convince players that being in front of the camera can help them build their brand and create value for themselves, especially in the NIL era. Says he wants everybody to want to hire Alabama’s players when they see them speaking to the media.
