Live updates from Nick Sabanâs radio show before Alabama plays LSU
It’s a big week for Alabama football. The Crimson Tide faces an opportunity to avenge one of last season’s losses when LSU visits Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday.
The Tigers bring one of the SEC’s best offenses to town, and will be looking to dash Alabama’s playoff dreams for a second season in a row. The game is scheduled for 6:45 p.m. CT on Saturday, and will be aired on CBS.
Ahead of the game, Alabama head coach Nick Saban is set to make his weekly appearance on the “Hey Coach” radio show, live from Baumhower’s Victory Grille in Tuscaloosa. Saban is scheduled to put on the headset at 7 p.m. CT.

— Saban begins by talking about Alabama and the SEC’s relationship with CBS. Says it was huge for building up the SEC. Credits the network’s reach for Mark Ingram’s ability to win the Heisman Trophy. Says he hates that the relationship will not continue.
— Peewee from Grand Bay is in person for tonight’s show. He traditionally asks the first question via phone. Saban jokes that players respect Peewee’s tips for them and they don’t want to disappoint him.
— Saban says players have come back from bye week with good attitude. Says it’s important for players to focus on each and every play, notes that he doesn’t think the Tide has played a complete game this season.
