Live Updates: Bryan Harsin presser after 42-10 loss at No. 2 Georgia

Auburn head coach Bryan Harsin will address reporters after the Tigers’ 42-10 loss against No. 2 Georgia. The Tigers had 258 yards on offense compared to 500 yards by the Bulldogs. Auburn trailed 14-0 at the half.

Auburn had 10 penalties and 10 first downs on offense, and 93 rushing yards. Harsin’s record at Auburn is 9-10 through 19 games into his tenure as the Tigers coach. Life doesn’t get easier for the Tigers next week when the team travels to Ole Miss.

— Harsin says he was disappointed by the loss. He said Georgia was a physical football team.

— Harsin said the penalties were an issue for Auburn.

— Harsin said the fake punt was an attempt to create a spark. He got the look he wanted, but Georgia executed better on defense.

— Harsin said he’s got to evaluate everything the team is doing to prepare for games. He says the game prep has to be better because the team wants different results.

“At some point, you got to put points on the board,” Harsin said. “You got to even the game out. You got to give guys some hope.”

— “I wish I had the answer for that,” Harsin said when asked about the team’s second-half struggles. “If I knew the answer, we’d fix it.”

— “We’re too up and down through games,” Harsin said. “We have to do a better job coaching and putting them in positions to win.”

“It’s freaking frustrating,” Harsin said when asked about early-down penalties.
