Top-seeded Auburn faces No. 4 Penn in the opening round of the NCAA Auburn Regional at Plainsman Park on Friday night. The Tigers will send Chase Allsup to the mound in their first game of the double-elimination regional against Ryan Dromboski for the Quakers.

Samford beat Southern Miss 4-2 in the day’s first game and will meet the Auburn-Penn winner on Saturday. The Auburn-Penn loser will face Southern Miss in an elimination game.
