Alejandro Vasquez grabs his own layup to even the score and Alabama A&M has possession after the final media timeout.

— The Blazers surge back ahead on a 4-1 run, taking a 30-25 lead, but Alabama A&M takes advantage of a few turnovers and hits a 9-2 run for a 34-32 lead, following Caleb Blackwell’s triple.

— UAB 26, Alabama A&M 22 (6:57) | Under-8 timeout: The Blazers use a 7-0 run to take a 26-18 lead at the 8:01 mark but Alabama A&M responds with a 4-0 spurt to trim the deficit to two possessions. Yaxel LEndeborg is two rebounds shy of a second straight double-double.

— Omari Peek knocks back a triple to tie the game at 15-all following the media timeout and Dailin Smith pulls the Bulldogs to within a point, 19-18, on his first triple of the game.

— UAB 15, Alabama 12 (11:29) | Under-12 timeout: The Blazers had plenty of second-chance opportunities but could not convert, allowing the Bulldogs to pull within three points. Alabama A&M has possession out of the timeout.
