Auburn’s run of four brutal games to open SEC play is over, and coming off four losses in a row, Auburn will now face Mississippi State in a game that may be a must-win for the Tigers.

– It looks like Auburn is still getting closer to full health with running back Damari Alston warming up in pads. He’s been out for the last three games with a shoulder injury. He practiced earlier this week without a non-contact jersey during an open session Tuesday.
– It does appear, as expected, that Auburn will be without starting center Avery Jones (undisclosed). Connor Lew will get his first career start in his place.
