The Alabama basketball team heads into the 2024-25 season as the preseason No. 1 team in the country, according to Lindy’s.

Lindy’s 2024-25 College Basketball Magazine is now available for pre-order, and it reveals its top 10 poll on th cover.

Sitting at No. 1 is Nate Oats’ club.

Oats and the Crimson Tide went to the Final Four for the first time in program history to end the 2023-24 season.

The Tide will have several key contributors from the Final Four team opted to return, including Mark Sears and Grant Nelson. Alabama begins the season on Nov. 4 against North Carolina-Asheville in Tuscaloosa, though it will play a charity game in Huntsville on Oct. 28.

On Oct. 11, the Crimson Tide will celebrate last year’s Final Four team. UA Athletics announced that it will host an event at Coleman Coliseum to honor the Final Four team. The Tide will unveil its banner commemorating the achievement during that time.
