Limp Bizkit coming to Alabama on ‘Loserville’ tour: How to get tickets

If someone invited you to Loserville, would you go? When Fred Durst is asking, rap-rock fans might be inclined to say yes.

Limp Bizkit has announced 24 tour dates for next year, with special guests Bones with Eddy Baker & Zavier Wulf, N8NOFACE and Corey Feldman. Riff Raff also will appear as host and MC. The 2024 trek is called “Loserville,” and includes an Aug. 9 show at Oak Mountain Amphitheatre in Pelham.

Tickets for the Birmingham-area concert go on sale Friday, Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. CT via Live Nation/Ticketmaster, after a round of pre-sales. Prices are $39.50, $79.50, $119.50 and $149.50, according to promoter Red Mountain Entertainment. Show time is 6:30 p.m.

The Pelham date is the only show listed for Alabama, although the tour will stop in Charlotte, North Carolina (Aug. 2, NC Music Pavilion) and Alpharetta, Georgia (Aug. 4, Ameris Bank Amphitheatre). The Loserville tour runs from July 16 through Aug. 24, starting in Somerset, Wisconsin, and ending in San Bernadino, California. (See the full list of dates here.)

Limp Bizkit, led by frontman Durst, performed a string of shows in 2023, supporting a 2021 album, “Still Sucks.” Tracks on that record include “Dad Vibes,” “Snacky Poo,” “Out of Style,” “Pill Popper” and a cover of “Don’t Change” by INXS.

The band from Jacksonville, Florida, has six studio albums to its credit, including 1999′s “Significant Other” and 2000′s “Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water.” Limp Bizkit, often classified as “nu metal,” earned its greatest fame for “Nookie,” a 1999 radio hit. Other singles include “Re-Arranged,” “Take a Look Around,” “Break Stuff” and “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle).”

The band’s longtime guitarist, Wes Borland, has a history of appearing on stage in costume, wearing masks, body paint and other eye-catching outfits. Durst has debuted his own costumes in recent years, prompting delight and confusion among Limp Bizkit’s fan base.

Durst, 53, is best known for his work with Limp Bizkit, but he’s also a director, actor and producer. His directing credits include several videos (including Limp Bizkit’s videos for “Nookie,” “Break Stuff” and other songs), the 2008 movie “The Longshots” (starring Ice Cube and Keke Palmer) and 2007′s “The Education of Charlie Banks” (starring Jesse Eisenberg and Jason Ritter).

In 2018, Durst came to Birmingham for the filming of “The Fanatic,” a much-maligned stalker movie starring John Travolta and Devon Sawa. Durst was director and co-writer of the film, which made several “worst” lists in 2019 and earned four nominations for the 2020 Razzie Awards.
