LeBron James takes issue with late hit on Colorado’s Travis Hunter, is all of us

LeBron James chimed in after a Colorado State defensive back rocked Colorado’s Travis Hunter during the first quarter of Saturday’s game.

The Rams’ Henry Blackburn was assessed a personal foul after the late hit.

“Like I don’t understand the difference between targeting and what I just witnessed,” James posted on “X,” the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “I’ve seen others get thrown out for far less. That was blatant and uncalled for IMO!”

Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders came running to the defense of Hunter and exchanged words with Blackburn. The defensive back for the Rams was not ejected, but tensions from the pregame certainly have carried into the game.
