Plans for what could be a more than 1,100-home development in the Limestone County portion of Huntsville are moving forward.

The Huntsville Planning Commission approved the planned development for the southern portion of Greenbrier Preserve south of Swancott Road and west of Rabbit Lane that could lead to construction of as many as 400 homes.
