Law enforcement searching for 7-year-old boy missing in Mobile County

Mobile County Sheriff’s Office personnel, aided by drones and K9 officers, are searching for a 7-year-old boy who went missing from his home Thursday.

According to the sheriff’s office, Jackson Hillman was last seen at his home on Odom Road in the Chunchula community of Mobile County, about 11 miles north of the City of Mobile.

Investigators say Jackson is about three feet tall, weighs about 65 pounds, with brown hair, pale skin with freckles, and hazel eyes. When last seen, he was wearing black sweat pants and no shirt.

The boy may also be with two dogs — a blue heeler and a chihuahua/bulldog mix with black and brown markings.

MCSO public affairs director Lori Myles said investigators aren’t sure yet if Jackson was taken or wandered away from home.

Anyone with information on Jackson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the MCSO at 251-574-8633.
