Lane Kiffin declares Eli Drinkwitz’s recruit video more awkward than Brian Kelly’s

It appears there is a new leader in the clubhouse when it comes to head coaches starring in awkward recruit videos. That is, of course, if Lane Kiffin were the judge.

The Ole Miss coach couldn’t help but comment on Eli Drinkwitz’s bit role in a recruiting video in which he is playing – or pretending to play – a guitar.

“Just when I thought BK’s (LSU coach Brian Kelly) couldn’t be beat,” Kiffin posted on X.

The Missouri coach responded, “Bro! No shame n jamming out to some CREED during a photo shoot!”

You can judge for yourself.

Kiffin’s reference to Kelly was, of course, from 2021. Kelly made quite the impression at LSU in his first days on the job.

First, it was the attempt at a southern accent to fans during a men’s basketball game that took the nation by storm.

Then, the football coach was showing off his awkward dance moves – to a Garth Brooks tune – with 5-star quarterback commit Walker Howard.

So, which one wins? Or depending on your perspective, loses?
