When he was a student at LeFlore High School, King Champion was an athlete who played “everything but basketball,” he says. He says he also made $300 a day selling candy – chocolate, gummy candy, whatever his peers wanted – out of a rolling backpack filled with ice. “I was always selling something,” he says.

He still likes selling things. “I can sell water to a whale,” he jokes.
