Kickoff time set for South Alabama’s Sept. 28 game at LSU

South Alabama’s Sept. 28 football game at LSU will kick off at 6:45 p.m. on the SEC Network, it was announced Tuesday.

The trip to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge will be the first for the Jaguars, who are 1-6 all-time vs. SEC teams (the lone win was at Mississippi State in 2016). South Alabama was originally scheduled to play in Baton Rouge in November 2016, but that game was canceled in the aftermath of Hurricane Mathew because LSU had to make up a conference game against Florida on that date.

South Alabama went 7-6 and won the 68 Ventures Bowl in 2023. The Jaguars open the 2024 season at home Aug. 31 vs. North Texas.
