Well, it’s 2024….why not?

KFC – or Kentucky Fried Chicken for us seasoned people – is rolling out a chicken pizza known as the “Chizza” nationwide. Described by the company as an “international smash hit,” the Chizza is two Extra Crispy fried chicken filets topped with marinara sauce, melted mozzarella cheese and pepperoni.

In other words, it’s a pizza with fried chicken filets for a crust.

“Fried chicken and pizza collaborated to create something even better – the Chizza,” said Nick Chavez, CMO KFC U.S. “The fan-favorite mashup is finally available in the U.S. after making its way around the world – try it while you can!”

The Chizza will be available starting Feb. 26 but will only be available “for a limited time.” Another item – the more traditional-sounding Blackberry Lemonade – will be arriving at stores at the same time.

The Chizza first debuted on KFC menus in the Philippines and later made its way to Korea, Taiwan, India, Thailand, Germany and Spain. The chicken chain is hosting a pop-up shop in New York with Chizza giveaways to celebrate its arrival in the U.S.
