4 TDs have been scored by the Kentucky defense this season, tied for the most in the nation. The Wildcats have returned three interceptions and one fumble for TDs. Rattler needs 133 yards to record the eighth 3,000-yard passing season in South Carolina history. He’d be the second player to have two for the Gamecocks, joining Todd Ellis, who surpassed 3,000 passing yards in 1986 and 1987.

5 Interceptions have been made by Kentucky CB Maxwell Hairston during the 2023 season, the most in the SEC and tied for the second-most in the nation. He also leads the SEC with 131 interception-return yards and has scored TDs on two of his interceptions this season.

In 2009, Kentucky won on the road against conference rivals Auburn, Vanderbilt and Georgia. Since the 2009 season, the Wildcats are 14-51 on the road in the SEC but have won three of the past four.

15 TD passes in five home games and two TD passes in five away games for South Carolina QB Spencer Rattler this season. In 2023, Rattler has completed 121-of-151 passes for 1,696 yards with 15 TDs and three interceptions at home and 119-of-189 passes for 1,171 yards with two TDs and four interceptions in five games away from Williams-Brice Stadium. The Gamecocks have played Furman, Mississippi State, Florida, Jacksonville State and Vanderbilt at home, Georgia, Tennessee, Missouri and Texas A&M on the road and North Carolina in Charlotte, North Carolina. Rattler has an .801 completion percentage and a 203.29 passing-efficiency rating in home games and a .630 completion percentage and a 114.27 passing-efficiency rating away from home this season.

16 TDs have been scored by Kentucky RB Ray Davis this season, the most in the SEC and the third-most in the nation. Davis has 11 TD runs and five TD receptions this season.

19 Victories for South Carolina, 14 victories for Kentucky and one tie in the Gamecocks-Wildcats series. Before South Carolina joined the SEC in 1992 and the teams started playing annually, they met three times, with each team winning once plus a tie in 1978.

71 Rushing yards are need by Kentucky RB Ray Davis to become the 11th player with a 1,000-yard rushing season for the Wildcats. Two of the players had two 1,000-yard seasons – Sonny Collins in 1973 and 1975 and Rafael Little in 2005 and 2007 – and one had three – Benny Snell Jr. in 2016, 2017 and 2018. Kentucky’s other 1,000-yard rushers have been George Adams in 1984, Mark Higgs in 1987, Moe Williams in 1995, Artose Pinner in 2002, Stanley “Boom” Williams in 2016, Lynn Bowden Jr. in 2019 and Christopher Rodriguez Jr. in 2021.

Sidney Rice in 2005 and 2006, Alshon Jeffery in 2010 and Pharoh Cooper in 2014 have recorded 1,000 receiving yards in a season since South Carolina joined the SEC in 1992. Before the Gamecocks joined the SEC, they had one 1,000-yard receiving season by Sterling Sharpe in 1986.
