A juvenile was killed in an afternoon shooting in Eufaula on Monday.

Eufaula police were dispatched just before 2:30 p.m. to a report of shots fired in the area of Spruce Circle, said Chief Danny Christ.

The young victim was taken to Medical Center Barbour and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.

The juvenile’s name, age and gender has not yet been released.

Christ said the shooting appears to be an isolated incident.
