Limestone County Circuit Court Judge Matthew Huggins denied a motion by New Beginnings Covenant Ministries and Belle Mina Methodist to halt the construction of a quarry less than a mile from the heart of the Belle Mina community.

The two churches are suing Stoned LLC, of Huntsville, and Grayson Carter & Son, Inc, of Athens to stop the quarry being built off Mooresville Road.
