The Jones family has taken its fight to reclaim land members said was stolen to build the University of Alabama in Huntsville to the Huntsville City Council.

Adolph Jones, grandson of former property owner Willie Jones, told the council at its meeting on March 28 that the family realizes it will never get the land back, but he and others made the case for restitution.
