John Mellencamp has added 2024 dates to his “Live and In Person Tour” in support of his new album “Orpheus Descending.”

The tour begins in Rochester, N.Y. on March 8 and comes to an end April 22 in Savannah, Ga.

Birmingham fans can hear him sing a little ditty or two on April 12 in the Concert Hall of the Birmingham Jefferson Civic Center. “Orpheus Descending” was released in June 2023. It is his 25th studio album.

A reviewer at Forbes wrote of the 2023 leg of the show: “…it doesn’t appear that Mellencamp has any intention of slowing down or abandoning his trademark feistiness.”
