Joe Biden reacts to Chiefs winning Super Bowl with bizarre social media post

Joe Biden approves of the final play of Super Bowl 58.

The President of the United States posted on “X,” the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. “Just like we drew it up,” he posted. It was accompanied with a photo of Biden with laser eyes known as “Dark Brandon.”

The post was a reference to a Super Bowl conspiracy theory involving game-rigging and a Taylor Swift endorsement.

The Kansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime to win Super Bowl LVIII. Patrick Mahomes hit Mecole Hardman for a 3-yard, game-winning touchdown with seconds remaining in the first and only overtime period.

Earlier, the Biden campaign posted a TikTok video in which the president deadpanned about the conspiracy theory, “I’d get in trouble if I told you.”

Mahomes, Travis Kelce and the Chiefs are back-to-back Super Bowl champions. It was the second overtime game in Super Bowl history, and Kansas City became the first repeat champs in 19 years and ninth overall. With pop star Taylor Swift watching boyfriend Kelce from a suite, the Chiefs captured their third Super Bowl title in five years and firmly established themselves as a dynasty.
