Job-seekers invited to meet with 25 employers at ReLaunch Job Fair
More than two dozen employers will be on hand next week as the ReLaunch Job Fair returns to downtown Huntsville.
The event – a venture of the Huntsville/Madison County Chamber of Commerce, Alabama Career Center and Alabama Community College System – will be held 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 15 at First Baptist Church of Huntsville, 600 Governors Drive. Use Entrance No. 7 on St. Clair Ave. across from the Huntsville/Madison County Public Library.
The event is open to job-seekers of all types, including those who are changing careers, who have not completed high school or who need a second career chance. Admission is free for job-seekers, who may register online in advance or at the door.
Also available at no cost to attendees will be:
- ASL interpretation
- English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English interpretation and translation
- Visual impairment aides
- Resume assistance and a copy/print station
Job-seekers may speak with employers about open positions, and many will have recruiters on site for interviews during the event, according to a Chamber news release.
The 25 registered employers represent such fields as aerospace, education, government, health care, hospitality and manufacturing, including BASF Corp., the city of Huntsville, Huntsville Hospital, L3Harris / Aerojet Rocketdyne, Madison County Schools and Titomic.
