Authorities are on the scene of a shooting in McCalla.

The shooting happened just before 10 a.m. Wednesday at a residence in 3000 block of Lindsey Loop Road.

The victim was transported to the hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Jefferson County sheriff’s investigators are on the scene. Circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
