Jeep dealership in Decatur, new school building in Madison among projects issued permits
A new Jeep dealership in Decatur, a private school building in Madison, apartments and home construction in Huntsville were among projects issued permits in the area last week.
New buildings for the car dealership Champion of Decatur and Primrose School of West Madison were the most expensive projects. They were two of the three single projects exceeding $1 million during the week.
Al H Pickens of Fortson, Georgia, is listed as the builder of the new Jeep dealership at Champion of Decatur. The building at 3831 U.S. 31 South is valued at more than $4.8 million.
The new school building at 117 Field View Lane in Madison for private school Primrose School of West Madison is valued at $4.2 million. The school offers programs for children up to 12 years old, according to its website.
Tri South Contractors of Grayson, Georgia, is listed as the builder of the school building. Tri South specializes in commercial projects. It lists CVS Pharmacy, Dutch Brothers Coffee, Dunkin Donuts, O’ Charley’s and Applebee’s restaurants among its projects.
The city of Huntsville issued a permit for a $1.5 million alteration at Dynetics Solutions at 1004 Explorer Drive. Yuna Kwon was listed as the owner of the project. Brasfield & Gorrie of Birmingham – which is involved in several Huntsville area projects – is listed as the builder.
