Jason Bonham bringing ‘Led Zeppelin Evening’ tour to Mobile Saenger

Jason Bonham, son of famed Led Zeppelin drummer John Bonham, will bring the band’s music to the Mobile Saenger Theatre in September, the venue has announced.

The show, billed as Jason Bonham’s Led Zeppelin Evening, is scheduled for Sept. 1. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 16, with prices starting at $35.50 plus fees.

John Bonham’s untimely death in 1980 signaled the end of one of the most influential bands in rock, but his son has had a hand in keeping the group’s legacy alive ever since. Although he has maintained his own career as a recording and touring artist, he also has taken part in key events such as a 2007 Led Zeppelin reunion concert in London.

According to promotional materials, the “Led Zeppelin Evening” tour will feature songs “from the iconic band’s entire career, including albums ‘Led Zeppelin,’ ‘Led Zeppelin II,’ ‘Led Zeppelin IV’ and ‘Physical Graffiti.’”

The show will feature special guest Jager Henry.
