Jamie Foxx’s Netflix production ‘Back in Action’ with stand-in due to ‘medical complication’

Jamie Foxx is apparently still undergoing medical care for an emergency that put him out of commission Tuesday.

In Atlanta shooting a Netflix action comedy called “Back in Action,” Foxx was hospitalized with a “medical complication” according to a social media post from his daughter Corinne Foxx.

Production on the film was halted, but, according to People magazine, restarted on Thursday, using a stand-in for Foxx.

“Back in Action,” also starring Cameron Diaz and Glenn Close, has been shooting in Atlanta since last month.

According to CNN the film was “expected to wrap up next week.” But TMZ reported Friday that the film still has eight days left in its production schedule.
