Jalen Milroe spotted with Michael Jordan at Talladega

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe and several of his teammates visited Talladega Superspeedway for Sunday’s Geico 500 NASCAR Cup Series race, and Milroe got a chance to meet arguably the greatest basketball player in history.

Milroe was spotted with Michael Jordan, the retired NBA legend who is co-owner of 23XI Racing team with NASCAR regular Denny Hamlin. Tyler Reddick drove the No. 45 car for 23XI in Sunday’s race.

Milroe posted a photo of himself with Jordan on his Instagram story Sunday.

Milroe was joined in the pits for Sunday’s race by Alabama teammates DeVonta Smith, Jihaad Campbell and Malachi Moore. They got an up-close view of all the action, as captured by Fox 54 Huntsville sportscaster Simon Williams.

Jordan won six NBA championship with the Chicago Bulls, and was inducted into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2009. He famously spent time in the state of Alabama in 1994 while playing minor-league baseball with the Birmingham Barons.
