As the San Francisco 49ers prepare to lock horns with the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC Championship Game Sunday afternoon, we have picked out five of our favorite player props for the man of the hour, Philly QB Jalen Hurts.
Jalen Hurts player props: Eagles MVP candidate to dominate once again?
Jalen Hurts props: over 49.5 rushing yards (-110 or better)
The 49ers have the best rush defense in the National Football League—however, we believe the Eagles are going to use that to their benefit and run their bruising QB regularly as the Niners players key in on Miles Sanders and other members of the running back committee.
Hurts’ recent injury is a concern, but he looked good running the ball last week, picking up 34 yards on nine carries in a comfortable win. With this matchup expected to bring a much tighter final score, he will have to tuck the ball and run more than he did in the last round, giving him the volume needed to go over his total.
Jalen Hurts player props: under 247.5 passing yards (-114 or better)
Last week, the 49ers only gave up 206 passing yards to Dak Prescott despite him throwing the ball 37 times. That gave Prescott an average of 5.5 yards per attempt and stuck another feather in the cap of San Fran’s defense, which is widely considered to be the best in the league.
We trust Hurts to hold up better than Prescott did, but we have great respect for the Niners’ defense, as well as their pass-rushers. Don’t forget that if they wreak havoc in the backfield, Hurts will scramble out of the pocket, giving all the more reason to bet the over on his rushing total instead of his passing total.

Jalen Hurts props: anytime touchdown scorer (+102 or better)
Once again, look for the do-it-all quarterback to make his mark by breaking into the end zone at least once. Hurts has scored eight rushing touchdowns in his last eight games and is the team’s best weapon near the goal line because of his massive frame.
Last week we saw Josh Allen barrel into the end zone against the Cincinnati Bengals on a quarterback sneak. Hurts is just as large and imposing as Allen is, and he has been a regular threat in similar situations.
Jalen Hurts over 0.5 interceptions (+126 or better)
Hurts was a model of consistency this season, only throwing six interceptions in his 15 games under center. Unfortunately, he is facing a defense that, along with the Pittsburgh Steelers, led the league with 20 interceptions.
San Fran picked Prescott off twice last week and had a couple of other major opportunities that they did not convert into turnovers. With the amount of pressure they bring from the opening whistle, we have a feeling they will rattle Hurts enough to make him throw at least one, if not more ill-advised balls.

Jalen Hurts under 1.5 passing touchdowns (+120 or better)
We already know that both teams want to run the ball early and run the ball often. That shortens the length of the game and leads to fewer possessions for both teams, which means fewer opportunities to throw touchdowns.
Because of the raw physicality that defines the upcoming matchup, we would be more comfortable betting Hurts to run for two touchdowns than to throw for two. The Eagles’ path to victory is through imposing their will on the ground, not lighting up a nearly impenetrable defense.
