Charles Kelly’s first appearance coaching at Burgess-Snow Field is set.

Jacksonville State’s spring game will be played on Thursday, April 17, the program announced Monday. Kickoff is set for 6 p.m.

This marks the first coaching appearance for Kelly at Jax State, who was hired to lead the program in December.

The Gamecocks will open the regular season on Thursday, on Thursday, Aug. 28 at UCF before hosting Conference USA foe Liberty on Saturday, Sept. 6 for its home opener.

Jax State is fresh off a Conference USA championship and an appearance in the StaffDNA Cure Bowl.
