Jacksonville and Sylacauga First United Methodist among churches getting new pastors

United Methodist Bishop Jonathan Holston has notified numerous clergy in the North Alabama Conference about their upcoming assignments, and that includes new senior pastors for the First United Methodist Churches in Jacksonville, Sylacauga, Tuscaloosa and Birmingham.

The announcements of some of the new clergy assignments were made in churches across North Alabama today. The assignments take effect July 1.

Tuscaloosa First United Methodist Church today announced its next senior pastor as the Rev. Robin Crews Wilson.

Birmingham First United Methodist Church announced its next senior pastor will be the Rev. Kevin Thomas.

Jacksonville First United Methodist Church announced its next senior pastor will be the Rev. Andy Curtis.

Sylacauga First United Methodist Church announced its next senior pastor will be the Rev. Earl Freeman.
