MLK Day 2023 will be observed Monday, Jan. 16 as we celebrate the birthday and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and the injustices he fought.

With MLK Day being on a Monday, everyone is wondering, what retailers will be opened and closed?

Walmart in particular is a favorite among shoppers when it comes to snagging deals or just shopping for favorite everyday items, but will we be able to shop from our local Walmart storefront on MLK Day?

Thankfully, Walmart will be open on MLK Day. Most locations will operate within regular shopping hours from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. However, it doesn’t hurt to call your local Walmart chain to be totally sure.

If you don’t want to get out of the house on MLK Day, you can still shop from Walmart.com. Those who try Walmart+ free for 30 days can get free shipping on all items.
