Is this popular chicken chain the next Chick-fil-A? ‘The menu is short, but the food is solid’
Raising Canes is popular, but could it be the next Chick-fil-A? One publication thinks so.
Food media brand Taste of Home says Raising Canes is giving Chick-fil-A a run for its money. The standout item: the chicken fingers.
“Founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1996, Raising Cane’s is a fast-food chain that does one thing the right way, and that one thing is chicken fingers. Unlike other fast-food chains that offer menus with something for everyone, Cane’s (as fans call it) serves nothing but chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, Texas toast and coleslaw,“ writes Taste of Home. ”What Cane’s lacks in variety, it makes up for in quality. The kitchen’s only job is to make the best chicken fingers possible, which translates into a consistently excellent product.” (You can read Taste of Home’s full review here).
Raising Cane’s is looking to expand, particularly in Alabama. In January, a representative from the fast food chain confirmed Birmingham is in the company’s sights. Raising Cane’s has locations in Mobile and Tuscaloosa.
