Auburn, Hugh Freeze earn the commitment of No. 1 JUCO safety Laquan Robinson
Robinson could immediately jump into a large role with Auburn as Auburn’s secondary has been greatly depleted by graduation and NFL draft prospects. Auburn’s two starting safeties in 2023, Jaylin Simpson and Zion Puckett, both announced they play to enter the NFL Draft following the Music City Bowl on Dec. 30.
He originally committed on Nov. 10 after taking a visit during Auburn’s game against Ole Miss on Oct. 21.
