Inked: Junior college offensive lineman Seth Wilfred signs with Auburn

Seth Wilfred, a junior college offensive lineman from Snow College in Utah, signed with Auburn on Wednesday, the program announced in a release.

Snow College is the same junior college where Auburn found cornerback Keionte Scott, who has developed into one of Auburn’s best defensive players.

Wilfred was ranked as a first team All-American at the junior college level this season.

Wilfred, who played high school football at the prestigious Bishop Gorman High School committed to Auburn on Dec. 11, just three days after he took his official visit to Auburn. Auburn has pursued offensive linemen out of the transfer portal with Division I experience, but have been unsuccessful thus far.

DeAndre Carter is the only other offensive lineman in the class. The four-star California product is ranked as the third overall interior offensive lineman in the nation.

Listed as an offensive tackle, Wilfred is one of only two high school or junior college players Auburn has arriving for the 2024 season.

Only losing sixth-year guard Kam Stutts from this year’s offensive line, Auburn’s starting group is relatively intact for 2024, but depth is needed in order to transition in 2025 and beyond.
