Inked: 4-star defensive lineman TJ Lindsey signs letter of intent with Auburn

TJ Lindsey, a 4-star defensive lineman out of IMG Academy in Bradenton, Fla., is the most recent player to officially join Auburn’s 2024 signing class.

Lindsey, who has been committed to Hugh Freeze and the Tigers since Aug. 12 signed his name on the dotted line of his national letter of intent Wednesday, becoming the latest high school recruit of the early signing period to send over his paperwork to Auburn.

Measuring 6-foot-3 and 265 pounds, Lindsey ranks as the 59th-best defensive lineman in the 2024 recruiting cycle and the 74th-best prospect to come out of the state of Florida, regardless of position, according to 247Sports.

Lindsey committed to the Tigers in August after visiting Auburn in June. Throughout his recruitment, Lindsey also garnered offers from the likes of Alabama, Georgia, Miami, LSU, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Oregon and USC, among others.

With the addition of Lindsey, barring any changes to Auburn’s current or prospective roster, the Tigers’ 2024 defensive line room is set to include 4-star Malik Blocton, Keldric Faulk, Quientrail Jamison-Travis, Jayson Jones, Lindsey, 3-star Dimitry Nicolas, Darron Reed Jr., Justin Rogers and Zykeivous Walker.
