Inked: 4-star Baker wide receiver Bryce Cain signs letter of intent with Auburn

Bryce Cain, a 4-star wide receiver out of Baker High School in Mobile, is the most recent player to officially join Auburn’s 2024 signing class.

Cain, who has been committed to Hugh Freeze and the Tigers since June 13, signed his name on the dotted line of his national letter of intent Wednesday, becoming the latest high school recruit of the early signing period to send over his paperwork to Auburn.

In his senior season at Baker, Cain hauled in 43 receptions for 948 yards and 16 touchdowns. Cain added another 82 yards on kick returns, totaling 1,030 all purpose yards in 2023, good for more than 93 yards per game.

Measuring 5-foot-11 and 170 pounds, Cain ranks as the 34th-best wide receiver in the 2024 class and is the 13th-best recruit out of the state of Alabama, regardless of position, according to 247Sports.

Throughout his recruitment, Cain garnered offers from the likes of Cincinnati, Liberty, Louisville, Northwestern, Ole Miss, Troy, Tulane and Wake Forest, among others.

With the addition of Cain, barring any changes to the current roster or prospective roster, Auburn’s 2024 wide receiver room is set to feature Camden Brown, Caleb Burton III, 5-star Cam Coleman, Jay Fair, Ja’Varrius Johnson, Georgia State transfer Robert Lewis, Koy Moore, 4-star Malcolm Simmons and 5-star Perry Thompson.
