Injury report: Who’s unavailable for Auburn football to start fall camp?
Fall camp is here for Auburn football and the Tigers are starting preparations for the 2025 season with a relatively clean bill of health.
Hugh Freeze addressed the media Wednesday morning before the first practice and gave a full update on Auburn’s injuries and availability going into camp.
Freshman corner Devin Williams is the only player with a long-term injury after he suffered a torn ACL during spring practice. The other names Freeze mentioned weren’t serious injuries, but players who will be limited to start camp.
Freshman tight end Hollis Davidson along with running backs Jeremiah Cobb and Durell Robinson were the three Freeze named on that list. He didn’t specify Davidson’s injury, but said, “he gets to go into cleats today,” and will be limited.
Cobb is recovering from a fractured finger, according to Freeze, and will be limited in practice with a cast on. Robinson missed spring practice with a leg injury, and Freeze confirmed that he’ll still be limited to start camp.
Other than those three and Williams, Freeze said “there may be a few more yellow jerseys,” indicating limited participation, “but everybody else is participating.”
