Injured Auburn forward Chris Moore a ‘game-time decision’ against Texas A&M
Auburn forward Chris Moore is progressing toward a return to the court following an injury to his right shoulder two weeks ago.
Moore, who has been sidelined for each of Auburn’s last three games, is expected to be a “game-time decision” for No. 15 Auburn (16-3, 6-1 SEC) when it hosts Texas A&M on Wednesday night at Neville Arena (8 p.m. on ESPN2).

Bruce Pearl said Moore is getting closer to returning to the fold for the Tigers and was more active during practice Monday afternoon, but the Auburn coach stopped short of saying the junior forward would be available against the Aggies.
“Chris did a little bit more in practice yesterday than he’s been doing,” Pearl said. “He’ll probably be a game-time decision (against Texas A&M), but he’s getting closer.”
Moore injured his right shoulder Jan. 14 against Ole Miss, sustaining the injury in the game’s opening minutes. He did not return to the game and spent the second half on the bench with his arm in a sling. He then sat out Auburn’s wins against Mississippi State, LSU and South Carolina, though he traveled with the team to Baton Rouge, La., and Columbia, S.C.
Although he didn’t play against the Gamecocks on Saturday, Moore was dressed out and went through pregame warmups with the team prior to is fifth consecutive win. Senior Allen Flanigan has started at the three in each of the games Moore has missed.
Moore, who was an end-of-rotation player for Auburn last season, started all 16 games for Auburn prior to his injury and is averaging a career-high six points and 2.7 rebounds per game in his increased role.
