Ruzic, a native of Warner Robins, Ga., played a key role in Auburn’s recruiting department the last year but was not retained by new Tigers coach Hugh Freeze. Ruzic oversaw Auburn’s player personnel and recruiting department and was responsible for oversight of all recruiting evaluations and recruiting pipeline to Auburn. He also assisted with oversight and management of the recruiting department and its operations.

Prior to his one year on the Plains, Ruzic spent a year and a half at North Carolina, where he served as the Tar Heels’ assistant director of player personnel and oversaw the evaluation and recruiting process for the offensive side of the ball. At UNC, he also assisted with the management of on- and off-campus recruiting operations and coordinator communications for the program’s recruiting efforts.

A 2013 graduate of Valdosta State, Ruzic also has stops at Minnesota (2019-21) as director of recruiting communications, Ole Miss (2018-19) as a head recruiting specialist, and at UT-Chattanooga (2017-18) as assistant director of recruiting/defensive analyst/video coordinator.

Last year, Ruzic was named to 247Sports’ 30 Under 30 list in college football and was identified by On3 as one of the rising stars among off-field personnel in the sport.
