Mobile police still don’t know the identity of the man whose lifeless body was pulled from Mobile Bay Monday.

Shortly before 6:30 p.m. Monday, officers were summoned to Mobile Bay near Dog River Bridge for what was termed a “water-related incident.”

Members of the Mobile Police Department’s marine unit responded to the scene. The body of a white male, appearing to be in his 30s or 40s, was recovered about an hour later, according to WALA.

Police said an investigation into the death is underway and an autopsy is pending.
