Iconic rock band planning to re-unite in 2025
“The Who” will be back in 2025.
Pete Townshend recently revealed he and Roger Daltrey have committed to returning to the stage next year.
In an interview with Townshend teased the potential of band activities in 2025.
“I met with Roger for lunch a couple of weeks ago,” he revealed to “The London Standard. “We’re in good form. We love each other. We’re both getting a bit creaky, but we will definitely do something next year.”
The Who last toured full-time in 2023, and according to the report, the 2025 upcoming tour will be “stripped down.”
“The last big tours that we’ve done have been with a full orchestra, which was glorious,” Townshend told Loudwire, per MSN. “But we’re now eager to make a noise and make a mess and make mistakes.”
The Who started in 1964 and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
