‘I love my baby,’ says Mobile mother accused of killing son, 13
The Mobile mother charged with murder in the shooting death of her 13-year-old son Monday night told reporters she loved her child as she was taken to the county jail.
Meanwhile, Mobile police responded to Glenda Agee’s apartment 34 times in the last two years, and she was out on bond for allegedly assaulting a police officer at the time her son, Jamil Autry, was shot and killed, Fox 10 reported.
“I love my baby,” the 53-year-old Agee told reporters, according to Fox 10. “Get away from me. Get away from me.”
She was out on bond for allegedly assaulting a Prichard police officer in January. The Mobile County District Attorney’s Office requesting a judge revoke her bond in that case due to the murder charge.
Neighbors described Jamil as a “good little boy” who came from a “troubled family.”
