Huntsville Mayor Tommy Battle clinched re-election for a fifth term without a single vote cast, but that did not stop the flow of funds to his campaign.

The campaign has raised more than $18,000 since the City Council voted on June 27 to declare Battle the winner. No one qualified to run against the mayor in the city election on Aug. 27.
