A South Carolina firm’s residential development on Governors Drive is now complete.

The Beach Company announced Tuesday it has finished construction of the 342-unit Foundry on Governors Drive. The mixed-use apartment community is within walking distance of Stovehouse and Campus 805′s dining, retail and entertainment options.

The Beach Company said in a news release the Foundry will serve as a top destination for residents looking for short commute times and a walkable environment.

The Foundry consists of four residential buildings and three townhome structures. The first building delivered has a 57 stacked flat consisting of studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.

It includes work-live units with a retail store on the ground and a residential unit on top. The building has about 4,000 feet of retail space. It shares a common courtyard with The Range, the Beach company’s Class A office building. The Foundry as a whole has 9,900 square feet of retail space.
