Huntsville woman killed, 2 injured, in head-on crash
A Huntsville woman died from injuries she received in a two-vehicle crash Sunday.
The incident happened at about 6:32 p.m. on Alabama 251 near the 15 mile marker, about one mile south of Ardmore in Limestone County.
Cpl. Reginal M. King of the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency said Kimberly L. Holloway, 48, was critically injured when the 1998 Lincoln Continental she was driving collided head-on with a 2022 Ford F-250, driven by Kenneth M. Parker, 55, of Toney.
King said Holloway was not using a seat belt at the time of the crash. She was transported to Huntsville Hospital, where she later died.
Kenneth Parker and Mary Parker, 58, also of Toney, who was a passenger in the Ford F-250, were both injured and transported to Athens Hospital.
Troopers with the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
