Authorities say a Huntsville woman was shot to death in Owensboro, Ky. last week.

Owensboro police Dylan Evans said Stephanie Green, 40, of Huntsville, has been identified as the victim of a shooting that happened last Wednesday.

According to Evans, officers were called to a shooting in the 500 block of Orchard Street Nov. 22 at 8 p.m. They found Green’s body there, dead from an apparent gunshot wound.

Green’s body was identified by the Daviess County Coroner’s Office.

Owensboro police are looking for security camera footage that may reveal other information about the shooting.
