Four baseball teams from The Huntsville Times coverage area have advanced to the Alabama High School Athletic Association playoff semifinals and those are the top ranked clubs in this week’s Power 5. At least one of those teams will be playing next week for a state championship.

City rivals Bob Jones – ranked No. 1 in the final Alabama Sports Writers Association Class 7A poll – and No. 9 James Clemens will play in the semifinals this week for the right to play in the state championship series next week in Oxford and Jacksonville.
