Huntsville teen suffers life-threatening injuries in apparent accidental shooting
Huntsville police were on the scene of an apparent accidental shooting Thursday morning.
Police spokesperson Sydney Martin said police were called to the 2300 block of Hammonds Avenue a few minutes after 8 a.m.
Officers arrived on the shooting call to find a teenager wounded.
Martin said the victim was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
At this time, investigators believe the shooting to be accidental.
