Not to be a downer but the negative numbers ran rampant Thursday on our Huntsville and Alabama Stock Report — from all sectors and from all parts of the state.

Close to home, Carpenter Technology was one of the bigger decliners, dropping 3%.

Adtran clocked in with a 2.1% decline.

Hexcel lost 1%.

Tyson picked up .4% to lead a trio of gainers.
